Our journey began in 1974, when Chris Pugh, a young boy with a fascination for cacti, turned his hobby into a thriving family business. From exploring wild habitats in South America to helping reintroduce rare species into cultivation, Chris’s passion laid the roots for what we’ve become today.

Though Chris is no longer with us, his love for these extraordinary plants continues to inspire everything we do – from how we grow, to how we care, and how we serve our customers.
