🌿 Succulent Care Tips

🌞 Light

Succulents thrive in bright, indirect sunlight. While they can tolerate some direct sun, too much can cause sunburn, especially if they aren't acclimated.

💧 Watering

Water sparingly. Let the soil completely dry out between waterings to avoid root rot.

  • In warmer months: Water every 2–3 weeks
  • In winter: Water less frequently, around once a month

🌱 Soil

Use a well-draining cactus or succulent mix. For added drainage, mix regular potting soil with sand or perlite.

🪴 Pot

Ensure your pot has drainage holes. Terracotta pots are ideal as they allow excess water to evaporate quickly, helping prevent root rot.

🌡️ Temperature

Succulents prefer warm environments (18–24°C). Keep them away from cold drafts and frost.

🍽️ Feeding

Feed your succulents lightly during the growing season (spring–summer) with a balanced, diluted fertilizer about once a month.

🔄 Repotting

Repot your succulent every 1–2 years, or when it outgrows its pot. Always use fresh, dry soil to encourage healthy growth.

🕷️ Pests

Watch for mealybugs, aphids, or spider mites. Treat with insecticidal soap or neem oil if needed.
